Brittani Scott is a worship leader and church planter, alongside her husband Ryan, in Seattle, WA. She's been involved in worship ministry for 16 years and has been writing songs in multiple genres for most of that time. Most of Brittani's songs have gone directly from her to the churches and worship teams she's worked with across the nation. She also has several cuts in both the worship and southern gospel genres.

Brittani is a mentor at heart. She is passionate about empowering others and setting them up for success in God's Kingdom. Joining the Next Level Songs team was a natural step for her and she's excited to connect with songwriters the services offered by Next Level Songs and at the retreats.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will you pitch my songs?

I will not be pitching your songs. My role is to mentor you and help sharpen you to be the best songwriter you can be. I will be your biggest champion and through the Mentorship process or the Phone Consultations I can help position you to get your songs recorded and that alone will set you up for longer term success than pitching your songs ever could.

Will you publish my songs?

I will not be publishing your songs personally nor will I bring you or your songs to the publishing company that I currently work for. I want to honor my current staff writers, and other staff members as well as you! The benefit that you receive is that you are getting comments, critique, and advice from an active publisher in the industry. You are getting all of the information that my staff writers receive. Although you don’t have the instant access to getting your songs published or recorded… there are plenty of ways that I can guide you through that process and help you take calculated steps towards a publishing deal. Please also read the following questions and answers for more information.

Will you connect me with other writers, artists, publishers, etc.?

Yes absolutely! You can be connected with ALL of those people by attending our next Retreat. If you happen to miss the Retreat please try our special Facebook page called "Next Level Songs Connect", and there may be opportunities where I can connect you with other writers, and artists when I feel that it is helpful and necessary to your growth. On very limited occasions I may feel that a writer is ready to be introduced to a publisher… but that is ultimately my decision and I will be the one to approach the subject with you.

Will you write with me or write on my songs?

To honor you in the Mentorship and Song Evaluation processes, I will not write with anyone working with me. That ultimately takes the pressure off of the both of us! As your mentor I will be able to maintain a certain perspective and not get tied to the emotions and ideas in the song, and you as the songwriter can feel free to disagree or challenge my critique without the pressure of a cowriter making decisions about your song so that you can feel completely confident about every change made to the song.
